Tyrese Accuses DJ Envy of Banning Him from “The Breakfast Club”
Tyrese mocked DJ Envy by alleging that “The Breakfast Club” host prevented the “Fast & Furious” actor from being a guest on the well-known radio program.
Tyrese revived his feud with DJ Envy to promote the upcoming album Beautiful Pain on Friday (August 16). Tyrese accused DJ Envy of refusing to let the singer on “The Breakfast Club” in a trolling video on Instagram.
“DJ Envy wouldn’t allow me entry,” Tyrese captioned a video of himself attempting to open a door adorned with the iHeart Radio logo. “I’m still here, unable to get through the door… It seems The Breakfast Club doesn’t want me to share anything about #BeautifulPain.”
The conflict between DJ Envy and Tyrese became public when Tyrese appeared on “The Breakfast Club” in 2023. DJ Envy accused Tyrese of disrespecting his wife.
“I never disrespected your wife, yet you disrespected mine,” DJ Envy confronted Tyrese. “I’ve kept that to myself. You can claim you were on medication or not, but as a man, the things you said, Tyrese, make me want to punch you.”
Tyrese refuted DJ Envy’s claims. In response, DJ Envy had his wife join “The Breakfast Club” to discuss their issues with Tyrese. The “Fast & Furious” actor defended himself in multiple social media posts.
“I will never, until my dying breath, allow anyone to doubt my integrity, slander my character, or act recklessly on some random nonsense,” Tyrese posted. “I strongly advise caution… I don’t send cease-and-desist letters. I don’t involve lawyers, I don’t snitch, I don’t gaslight. I’m ready to mess up and own my mistakes. It’s your choice how far this goes from here… I’m ready for all the conflict, beige man.”
Tyrese’s most recent dig at DJ Envy came just after his odd performance at the Los Angeles Rams versus Dallas Cowboys preseason game, where he donned a fake beard and wig in an odd tribute to Marvin Gaye while singing the national anthem.
